Post Production Editing-Titles
We decided to choose a basic font for our titles, this diverts the focus from the titles to the plot of the film, however still being able to be seen. With a few of our titles we used after effects to use the 3D camera tracker, this was very difficult to do and we encountered many problems involving the 3D camera tracker, this took us 5 hours of lesson and free time to sort out

Filming day evaluation
We got to the car park half an hour before we started filming, this is so we could pick the prime position to film in the car park, in the end we decided that the South Car Park was not the most aesthetically pleasing place to film, so we decided to relocate into the North Car Park, which has a much more aesthetically pleasing setting and lighting.
As we began to film Me and Rossi came up with some very good ideas as additional shots, such as the camera underneath the car as it drives over it, and the shot where the car drives up to the camera and stopping at the moment the windscreen is outlining the frame of the shot, however the actor was smiling in the shot, when he is meant to be serious, and he is on the other side of the car to when he gets out later in the scene. From what we have noticed these are the only continuity errors that we have spotted so far in the film.
Another issue we had was that it was so cold that the battery of the camera we were using died as it was so cold, we were aware this could of happened, so in advance we therefore arranged to bring another camera for backup, however this may effect us in editing as they are different quality cameras and therefore pick up light in different ways, so we will have to correct them to look the same on the two cameras.
Some of the shots we tried had to be shot off of a tripod as the pan we had to do was too fast for the tripod to follow, this meant it was handheld, the shot was unsteady, which means that we will have to steady it while editing.

This shows a side shot of the two cars facing off against each other preparing to meet, just before the dealer steps out of the car and we move to a over the shoulder shot. |
This shows the background to our setting and a front view of the camera, showing how we were shooting and what location space we made available. |
This shows Tom working on the midshot as the car pulls into the car park, trying to make it as good as possible and get the exact shot we were wanting. |
This shows me and Tom working on an over the shoulder shot of Dan as he gets out of the car, making sure we get everything in shot how we'd like. |
This shows Will just before the recording started, getting into character and ensuring that no mistakes were made. |
This shows the set up of our scene as well as the lighting we used (available lighting) because we thought this was most effective. |
This shows the multiple angles of shots we were getting at the same time. This gave us more to work with when it came to editing and picking the shots that we thought were most effective. |
This shows Will's character, costume and the main prop we used for our film opening, which was the focus of the opening. |
This shows the crew (Tom & I) briefing the actors of what we want in the next shot and how we're going to record it. |
