Filming day evaluation

We got to the car park half an hour before we started filming, this is so we could pick the prime position to film in the car park, in the end we decided that the South Car Park was not the most aesthetically pleasing place to film, so we decided to relocate into the North Car Park, which has a much more aesthetically pleasing setting and lighting.

As we began to film Me and Rossi came up with some very good ideas as additional shots, such as the camera underneath the car as it drives over it, and the shot where the car drives up to the camera and stopping at the moment the windscreen is outlining the frame of the shot, however the actor was smiling in the shot, when he is meant to be serious, and he is on the other side of the car to when he gets out later in the scene. From what we have noticed these are the only continuity errors that we have spotted so far in the film.

Another issue we had was that it was so cold that the battery of the camera we were using died as it was so cold, we were aware this could of happened, so in advance we therefore arranged to bring another camera for backup, however this may effect us in editing as they are different quality cameras and therefore pick up light in different ways, so we will have to correct them to look the same on the two cameras.

Some of the shots we tried had to be shot off of a tripod as the  pan we had to do was too fast for the tripod to follow, this meant it was handheld, the shot was unsteady, which means that we will have to steady it while editing.
